What can basketball teach us about working across cultures, building trust, and leading international teams?
Join us for a conversation with Dustin Sleva, basketball player at Žalgiris Kaunas, who will share experiences and perspectives from playing and working in an international team – including his experience of living and working in Lithuania. The conversation will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tobias Grünfelder and will be designed as an open and interactive exchange rather than a formal lecture.
Together, we will explore:
Living and working abroad – adapting to a new country, culture and environment.
Building trust – what helps multicultural teams connect and collaborate.
Team dynamics – how different backgrounds shape communication and teamwork.
Leadership & performance – what makes international teams work effectively.
Succeeding in international teams – lessons from professional basketball that can be applied beyond the court.
