Senior Reception Administrator (Fixed-term employment contract with the possibility of extension)
We are inviting a new colleague to join our team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the ISM reception and make everyone arriving at the University feel welcome and well taken care of from the very first moment. If you enjoy keeping things organised, coordinating people and processes, and noticing what could be done better, we invite you to join the ISM team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00–15:30
You will be responsible for:
- Welcoming University visitors, guiding them to their meetings and directing them to the right person;
- Providing initial information and assistance to University guests, employees, and students;
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception and maintaining high service standards;
- Organising the work of reception administrators, coordinating and supervising their activities, and providing guidance when needed;
- Managing internal and external information flows and correspondence;
- Issuing access cards, managing their use, and coordinating classroom reservations;
- Managing orders, invoices, and other administrative documents, as well as communicating with suppliers;
- Ensuring the quality of cleaning services and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order across the premises, communicating with cleaning service providers, and coordinating the resolution of any issues;
- Improving administrative processes.
We expect You to:
- Have previous experience in an administrative role and a good understanding of basic document administration principles;
- Have excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English skills;
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills and be able to work independently;
- Be communicative, responsible, and proactive, with high quality standards and a mindset of staying one step ahead;
- Feel comfortable communicating with different people and maintain professionalism in a variety of situations.

Full-Time Faculty Position in Entrepreneurship and Management
ISM University of Management and Economics invites ambitious and dedicated academics to join our Faculty as Professor / Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Management. This position provides an exciting opportunity to teach, conduct research, and contribute to the academic development of one of the leading business universities in the Baltic region.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research in Entrepreneurship, Management, and related areas at bachelor’s and master’s levels.
Teaching areas include, but are not limited to:
- Entrepreneurship;
- Innovation Management;
- Digital Business;
- Responsible and Sustainable Management.
The role also includes supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses, conducting and leading research in entrepreneurship, management, and related fields, and actively participating in academic and institutional initiatives to strengthen innovative, responsible, and practice-oriented business and management education at ISM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and seminars at bachelor’s and master’s levels.
- Design, update, and continuously improve course content in line with current academic research, developments in business practice, and innovative teaching approaches.
- Mentor and supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses.
- Conduct high-quality independent and collaborative research and publish in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals, including AJG-ranked journals.
- Present research at leading international academic conferences.
- Initiate and participate in applications for competitive national and international research grants.
- Build partnerships with business, public-sector, entrepreneurial, and other relevant external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with faculty members across disciplines on research, teaching, and academic initiatives.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, committees, programme development, accreditation-related activities, and the wider academic life of ISM.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field relevant to the position.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education in entrepreneurship, management, or related areas.
- Strong international academic or professional experience in European or North American institutions.
- A strong research record appropriate to the academic rank applied for, demonstrated through publications in recognised international peer-reviewed journals, including AJG-ranked journals.
- Proven excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student-centred, engaging, and research-informed learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students through interactive, project-based, and practice-oriented teaching approaches.
- Ability to teach effectively in English at bachelor’s and master’s levels.
- A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills for working in a diverse and international academic community.
