Career Project Manager

If you are people-oriented, enjoy supporting others, and have strong relationship-building skills – and if you speak and write English fluently – join the ISM Career Center team in a meaningful role helping shape the ISM student career journey!

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering individual and group career consultations to ISM students (career choices, job and internship search, CV writing, interview preparation, etc.);
  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering career-related events — such as networking events with alumni and business partners, Career Day, workshops, and similar initiatives;
  • Organizing student workshops on career readiness, employability skills, and labour market trends, as well as managing student internship processes;
  • Managing and documenting the Erasmus traineeship contest, including communication with students, application process coordination, and reporting;
  • Preparing, curating, and sharing relevant career-related information and opportunities across student communication channels;
  • Ensuring high-quality implementation and continuous improvement of career projects, services, and initiatives;
  • Building and maintaining successful partnerships with local and international partner companies;
  • Collaborating closely with internal ISM teams (marketing, admissions, study offices, and others) to ensure smooth, impactful, and well-coordinated career initiatives.

We expect that You:

  • Are genuinely people-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Have experience in project and/or event management, with the ability to coordinate several initiatives simultaneously;
  • Have proven experience in client relations and/or partnership management;
  • Possess excellent English language skills (spoken and written);
  • Are proactive, take ownership, and have a strong “can-do” attitude;
  • Are insightful, positive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Maintain high levels of quality, meet deadlines, and follow through on commitments;
  • Hold a university degree.
  • Also, experience in consulting, coaching, HR, talent management or similar field would be beneficial (working with students or young professionals – an advantage);

Full-Time Faculty Position in Finance and/or Economics

ISM University of Management and Economics invites ambitious and dedicated academics to join our Faculty as a Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Finance and/or Economics. This role provides an exciting opportunity to teach, research, and contribute to the academic growth of one of the leading universities in the Baltic region.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lectures and seminars in Finance and/or Economics at undergraduate and graduate levels. Areas of teaching may include (but are not limited to):

  • Finance: Financial Management, Accounting, Financial Markets, and Investments.
  • Economics: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics.

The role also includes supervision of bachelor’s and master’s theses, active research, and participation in academic and institutional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and seminars in Finance and/or Economics.
  • Design and update course materials to ensure alignment with current industry practices and academic standards.
  • Mentor and supervise students preparing bachelor’s and/or master’s theses.
  • Conduct independent research in Finance and/or Economics, publishing in AJG-ranked academic journals.
  • Present research findings at academic conferences and apply for competitive research grants.
  • Collaborate with faculty members on research projects in Finance and/or Economics and contribute to interdisciplinary initiatives.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and community-related activities.

Qualifications

  • PhD or PhD Candidate in Finance and/or Economics, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education (Finance and/or Economics, or related areas).
  • A proven track record of research publications in recognized AJG-ranked journals.
  • Strong international academic or professional experience, preferably in European or North American institutions.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and engage students in an interactive learning environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills for working in a diverse academic community.
