Global financial services company Moody’s is continuing its long-term partnership with ISM University of Management and Economics and will provide €40,000 in annual support to the “100 Talents” scholarship programme. The funding will cover tuition for ISM’s most talented students, enabling them to study regardless of their financial means.

According to ISM Rector Prof. Dr. Dalius Misiūnas, Moody’s decision to keep supporting the “100 Talents” programme reflects the maturity of a partnership built on mutual trust.

“The fact that Moody’s has invested consistently in ISM students and the university for several years is a very important sign of trust for us. The annual support for the ‘100 Talents’ scholarships helps ensure that financial circumstances do not become a barrier for exceptionally gifted and motivated young people seeking a top-quality education,” says Prof. Dr. Dalius Misiūnas, Rector of ISM University of Management and Economics.

The “100 Talents” scholarship programme is based on the principle of cooperation between the university, business and society. Its goal is to enable young people with strong academic results to study at ISM, with scholarships covering their tuition in full or in significant part. At the same time, the programme allows businesses to contribute directly to developing Lithuania’s future leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs.

Auksė Žukauskienė, Head of Moody’s in Lithuania, emphasises that investing in young people’s education is a long-term investment in the talent potential of the entire country.

“It is important for us to create lasting impact in the communities where we operate. Being able to give talented young people more opportunities to learn, grow and realise their potential is one of the most meaningful investments a business can make. Over our many years of partnership with ISM, we have seen a strong academic community, ambitious students and openness to collaboration with business, so we are pleased to continue contributing to the ‘100 Talents’ scholarship programme,” says Auksė Žukauskienė, Head of Moody’s in Lithuania.

A Partnership That Goes Beyond Financial Support

Developed since 2020, the partnership between ISM and Moody’s spans various areas of the university’s activities. The company’s experts have contributed to designing new study programmes, taken part in academic quality and accreditation processes, advised the university on professional internships, and served as mentors to ISM students.

“This model of cooperation allows the academic knowledge created at the university to be more closely linked with international business practice, and helps students, while still studying, better understand the real challenges organisations face, explore different career paths and learn from professionals in their fields,” says Inga Kievišaitė, Director of the ISM Fund.

ISM’s “100 Talents” scholarship programme has been running since 2011. Its main aim is to enable the most gifted and motivated young people to choose their studies based on their abilities and ambitions rather than their family’s financial situation. The programme is implemented by ISM University together with the ISM Fund and the business partners who support it.

The renewed support from Moody’s will make it possible to continue funding part of the most talented students’ studies through scholarships each year and to strengthen the long-term partnership between business and higher education.
