After the A-levels, I did a traineeship as a bank clerk and completed it in 2004. Afterwards, I studied Economics at Dresden University of Technology and graduated with Diploma in Economics in 2009. Then I went to Chemnitz University of Technology as a research assistant (until 2012). In 2012, I changed to University of Regensburg for dissertation and graduated from PhD in Economics in 2015. Since then, I have been assistant professor (non-tenure-track) at University of Regensburg.
