Dr. Saeed Shobeiri received his PhD from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. His work focuses on two emerging paradigms in the business world: experiential marketing and transformational marketing. He also investigates how emerging media (e.g. virtual reality and augmented reality) could shape or change customer lifestyle in the future.
Dr. Shobeiri is the winner of the Honorary Mention Award (2015) from Service Industries Journal, and is selected as the best speaker in several academic and professional conferences on Marketing. He has published several articles in highly reputable marketing journals such as Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Journal of Product & Brand Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, etc. Currently, he serves as the head of a scientific team that is funded by the Government of Quebec (Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture) to develop the concept of customer experience on new types of social platforms and emerging digital media. Dr. Shobeiri also regularly helps entrepreneurs - both in Canada and abroad - in areas such as branding, business plan development and communication skills improvement.
