Valdonė Darškuvienė
Short description / mini CV: 
Professor Valdonė Darškuvienė is economist, finance and corporate governance expert. Diploma of doctor of social sciences (economics) from Lithuania Academy of Sciences, Institute of Economics, 1990, habilitation procedure (HP) at Vytautas Magnus University, 2008. 
She is Vice-President for Research at ISM University of Management and Economics, chaired Department of Economics at the university in 2016-2017. Member of ISM International Doctoral Committee in Management and in Economics. Previously held positions at Vytautas Magnus University, associate professor, further – professor at Finance Department, Vice-Dean (for internationalization) of Faculty of Economics and Management, has developed international Double Degree programs (with Louvain School of Management (Belgium), NHH (Norway), Trento University (Italy), Aveiro University (Portugal), initiated and took the lead in projects on study quality improvement and internationalization.   
Valdonė teaches corporate finance and business valuation in executive Master studies, finance theory in doctoral studies. Has extensive teaching experience for bachelor and master students in Lithuania and abroad (Germany, Denmark, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, etc.). 
Professor Valdonė Darškuvienė participates in international research initiatives and networks. She has been developing research policy and management competencies in programs at EFMD (Belgium), ICDDET (UK), CEEMAN (Slovenia), etc. In 2014-2017 she served as expert at EC Horizon-2020 MSCA Advisory Group, which provides advice to the Commission regarding the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions on skills, training and career development, as well as expert at EC Horizon-2020 Gender Advisory Group, which promoted implementation of gender dimension in research and innovation content as a cross-cutting issue in Horizon 2020 work programme.  Currently involved in scientific committee on public enterprises at CIRIEC (International Centre of Research and Information on the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy). Member of AFECA (Association of Academics and Professionals is Accounting, Auditing and Finance), serving as president of AFECA during 2014-2018. The association includes universities from twelve EU countries and US, has initiated and implemented a number of  ERASMUS+ Strategic partnership initiatives, supported by grants, to develop students’ competencies in accounting, auditing and finance through innovative learning methodologies. She is an expert at the Research Council of Lithuania and at the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education of Lithuania.
Her research is within domain of corporate finance, ownership, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility.  She is author and coauthor of a number of publications in scholarly journals and books published by Palgrave Macmillan, Springer, etc. Research outcomes from grants, implemented with researchers from London School of Economics (LSE), Freie-Universitat Berlin, Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Corvinus university, etc., were published in European documents, such as Eurofound reports PEPPER III, 2006, PEPPER IV, 2009, PEPPER V, 2019, EFES Position paper, 2014, etc.
