Senior Research Manager



Jolanta Jaškienė gained her Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management at Vilnius University (Kaunas Faculty of Humanities). In 2014, Jolanta began her doctoral studies in Management at ISM University of Management and Economics and in 2021 successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on The Human Resource Management–Research Performance Linkage in the Higher Education Context.

Jolanta has been working in the education sector for more than 15 years, where she has held various administrative positions, has participated in staff mobility training at BI Norwegian Business School (Norway), and is currently Senior Research Manager at ISM University of Management and Economics.

Her main areas of research interest are the enhancement of research performance at higher education institutions, the factors influencing research productivity, and the application of HRM in the higher education context.

Jolanta has completed PhD courses both at ISM University of Management and Economics and at BI Norwegian Business School (Norway). Jolanta has also participated in internships as a visiting scholar at Maynooth University, School of Business (Ireland) in 2018 and 2019 (as of research visit grants from the Research Council of Lithuania). She has presented her research at various international conferences and workshops, including the European Academy of Management (EURAM) Conference, the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) Colloquium, and the Conference of the Dutch HRM Network.

Jolanta was awarded a doctoral scholarship for her academic achievements by the Research Council of Lithuania in 2016 and 2019.
