ISM International Master’s programmes are renewed!

From now on, Master’s students will acquire knowledge in the US, Japan, Ireland and the UK.

Students of the Financial Economics programme are offered a study tour to the world’s largest financial center – London!

During the visit, you will:

  • Visit financial institutions and organisations such as Moody’s, the London Stock Exchange, The Bank of England, the CFA Institute *;
  • Participate in the Bloomberg Essentials training programme, during which you will have the opportunity to take a test and receive the Bloomberg Markets Concepts certificate;
  • Understand how the financial ecosystem works and meet financial experts;
  • Meet representatives from the CFA Institute, who will introduce you to the most promising tools and instruments for future investment and analytics.

When? In the second year of study, during the spring semester.

Duration? 4 days.

Who can participate? All students of the Financial Economics programme.

Price – 1494 Eur (includes flight costs, transport costs, accommodation, meals, Bloomberg certification training, tour of financial institutions, CFA simulation).

Students of the Global Leadership and Strategy programme are offered a study tour to the  centre for startups and information technology companies – Silicon Valley (California)!

During the visit, you will:

  • Meet the world’s most famous companies, large corporations and prominent start-ups, who will share their leadership and strategy knowledge with you;
  • Discover what leadership and strategy challenges arise in different business life cycles, how different companies have overcome these challenges, and what leadership skills are needed at each stage of a company’s life cycle;
  • Visit companies such as Google, eBay, 10 X Innovation Lab, DocuSign, Plug and Play TechCenter or Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.
  • Participate in various practical workshops, company presentations, events, where you will be able to establish useful acquaintances with the leaders or representatives of various organisations.

When? In the first year of studies, during the spring semester.

Duration? 7 days.

Who can participate? All students in the Global Leadership and Strategy programme.

This subject will be offered as one of the two elective subjects of the programme. During the visit, students will have to fill in a journal of learning reflections and perform an analysis of personal progress (task will make up 30% of the final grade) and actively participate in the planned practical classes (tasks will make up 20% of the final grade). Two weeks after their return, students will be required to prepare an Entrepreneurship Strategy Report (assignment will be 30% of the final grade).

Price – 2000 Eur (transport costs in Silicon Valley and transport for tourist activities on the weekend, accommodation, meals, payment to companies).

Important! The organisations and institutions to be visited are subject to change. The price of the study tour may still change. The tours will take place if a group of 10 students is formed. Visits will be arranged if the pandemic situation allows.

International Marketing and Management students are offered a study tour to the headquarters of world-renowned advertising agencies in Dublin!

During the visit, you will:

  • visit the world’s most famous organisations, get acquainted with the activities of high-level international marketing consulting companies, such as TBWA and iProspect;
  • Meet the world’s strongest marketing professionals and deepen your knowledge in the field of digital marketing and analytics;
  • Get acquainted with international marketing processes, advertising campaigns prepared for clients from all over the world and implementation of marketing projects;
  • Hear about the latest digital marketing trends and get tips on how to become a successful marketing professional.

When? In the first year of studies, during the spring semester.

Duration? 4 days.

Who can participate? All students in the International Marketing and Management programme. The study tour will be offered as part of the Consumer Value Analysis module.

Price – 500-700 Eur (including flight costs, transport costs, accommodation, meals).

Students of the Innovation and Technology Management programme are offered a study tour to Japan, which is considered the capital of innovation!

During the visit, you will:

  • visit companies such as Toyota, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Alpen or Brother;
  • Meet the leaders of the largest innovation companies, who will share their many years of experience, unique insights, secrets of innovation and technology management;
  • Participate in design thinking seminars and workshops at Nagoya University of Commerce and Management (NUCB), a partner university of ISM.

When? In the second year of study, during the autumn semester.

Duration? 10 days

Who can participate? All students in the Innovation and Technology Management programme.

This subject will be offered as an optional subject in the programme. From this material, students will have to take an exam (the exam will make up 30% of the final grade) and prepare a written paper two weeks after returning from Japan (the task will make up 70% of the final grade)
