The company that I was a chairman of the board, experienced tough times and change of CEO, so I had to take over the control. Coping with extraordinary situation on other circumstances could have been more difficult personally and professionally. I probably had more frustration and uncertainty. I am sure – EMBA studies helped me to manage myself, first of all.
Nemunas Biknius
CEO at Amber Grid
I am proud of myself for accepting the challenge to take the course of EMBA. During one year journey I have changed personally. In a really positive way. My network of business professionals has expanded. I have gained more self-confidence, I have gained more knowledge, more understanding about strategic issues, and more about leadership. I became a better manager and a better person.
Rūta Bagdonavičienė
CEO at Gintarinė vaistinė
My bar is always raised high – for myself and for others around me. EMBA journey was not the easiest ride and by far it’s not a walk in the park if one wants to extract the maximum out of it. But looking back, if I had to repeat it again, I would not change the slightest bit. Every hurdle and obstacle, every challenge and fight, every push outside the comfort zone, every experience raised me and opened new perspectives. And I will not be the same as I was before.
Paulius Insoda
CEO at NFQ Technologies
During the year-long Executive MBA studies, lecturers and students are involved in unique interaction, permeated with the spirit of development and cooperation. Leaders from different fields and sectors share unique experiences, together solve each other’s problems, discuss and discover the unique features of own organizations. Studies broadens the competency of strategic thinking and contributes to the successful change management.
Lina Žagarienė
CEO at ALG Knygynai
Today’s environment is constantly changing, and so has the manager, and these studies are forcing them to step outside their comfort zone and look at themselves, listen to their team, and connect. At the end of your studies you discover that your potential is unbelievable.
Lijana Žmoginaitė
Head of Private Customers at Gjensidige and member of the Baltic management team
I was able to immediately apply the skills and knowledge acquired during my studies both in my agency and work with the clients. The greatest value of studies and various learning methods is the personal change that takes place through listening and discussing with teachers, communicating and solving tasks with peer teams, and finally, reflecting on and examining your own decisions, feelings, and behaviors.

The module provides a conceptual framework for viewing and understanding strategy and developing your strategic thinking. It helps participants acquire and put to use practical tools and experience in dealing with strategic issues. A thread that will run through the discussions and exercises during classes is the notion that strategy is all about making difficult choices.
Perspectives of business strategy and knowledge about how it is conceptualized and practiced will be offered in this module.
Its design is guided by the premise that top level managers are constrained by the firm’s strategy, its environment and its resources and, at the same time, strategy enhances their ability to manage, leverage and to ultimately change these constraints in ways that create opportunities that would otherwise not exist.
Strategy module helps participants to develop and implement cross-functional decisions towards the attainment of the organizations’ vision, mission and objectives using strategic management principles.

Aim of the Module
The aim of this module is to prepare Executive MBA students for leadership roles (nationally and internationally); specifically, to be able to lead in a multi-stakeholder context and cope successfully with the complex aspects of leadership challenges at different levels (individual, organizational and beyond). Students will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of leadership, explore what it means to be an effective, agile and responsible leader and develop advanced leadership competencies at horizontal (e.g. leadership skills) and vertical (e.g. advanced cognitive abilities) levels. One of the most important goals of the Leadership module is to create a thought-provoking and very supportive thinking and conversational environment for the students, where they will be encouraged to share their tacit knowledge about leadership, be open to considering new theories, principles and models, and develop critical thinking skills in order to debate the advantages and disadvantages of existing and emerging popular leadership principles. Students are expected to define their own vision of their leadership style and philosophy and build the necessary mindset and skillset for that. The module was designed to evoke and support tangible behavioral and philosophical leadership changes in the students, so all of the lectures, conversations and assignments will serve that purpose.
This module provides a critical review of the key concepts, models, theories and practitioner approaches relating to leadership in organizations. During the module, participants will be familiarized with the most up-to-date and relevant practical methods for identifying, analyzing and developing their 21st century leadership philosophy and style.
Illustrations and the application of leadership principles will be demonstrated through experiential exercises, skill and mindset development practices, and a 12-month transformative learning piece embedded within the body of the module. Personal and professional growth will form a common theme throughout the module.
