Since May 2017 I’m working as a senior economist at the Monetary Policy Division of the Economics Department at the Bank of Lithuania. My main responsibility is facilitating the preparation of the Bank of Lithuania’s representatives for participation in the Monetary Policy Committee and the Governing Council meetings. I also conduct analytical and research projects related to monetary policy.
For 1.5 years (09.2019 – 02.2021) I’ve been working as an economist at the Monetary Analysis Division of the DG Monetary Policy at the European Central Bank. I was monitoring and conducting regular analysis of the monetary policy transmission in the euro area, with a specific focus on the analysis of transmission via banks. I was also contributing to the preparation of the regular reports and briefing material.
I received my Bachelor‘s and Master‘s degrees in the field of Economics at the ISM University of Management and Economics in 2014 and 2017.
