Central and East European Management Development Association
The Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) is an international management development association established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating and improving the development of management in Central and Eastern Europe. There are 170 institutional and individual members from 41 countries in CEEMAN.
With professional excellence as its aim, CEEMAN fosters quality management development and change processes through the development of educational, research, consulting, informational, and networking support. The main objectives of CEEMAN are:
• to improve the quality of management education
• to provide a network and meeting place for management schools
• to promote and facilitate cooperation and exchange of experience
• to act as a key regional partner and a centre of excellence
CEEMAN offers International Quality Accreditation (IQA), which began in 1998 and is targeted at business schools and management development institutions operating in the countries in transition. ISM University of Management and Economics received International Quality Accreditation (IQA) in 2006.
Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas, ISM President, is Vice President of CEEMAN. Dr. Asta Pundziene is a member of the Alumni Board of IMTA (International Management Teachers Academy).
