Baltic Sea Region University Network
The Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN) agreement was signed by 16 institutions in Turku on 28 February 2000. The current number of members is 39. The Network is an umbrella organisation to facilitate and to enhance cooperation between its members.
The members intend to develop bonds of mutual partnership between students, teachers, researchers and administrators of the member universities. The main areas of cooperation are Baltic Sea regional studies, distance education and learning, European integration, institutional management and administration internationalisation, management information systems, and regional development.
The activities of the Network encompass student and academic staff mobility, exchange of information, and joint research projects, seminars and meetings.
ISM University of Management and Economics is an active member of BSRUN. Prof. Petras Baršauskas, Vice President for external relations, is a member of the BSRUN Steering Committee.
